I Just Want Peace

It is unfortunate that so many people can relate to this track. Life isn’t always easy and often children grow up in tough conditions. Poverty is the number one cause of this and one day hopefully the riches country in the world, (THE USA) wakes up and helps the poor. I get bad choices and drugs and alcohol, and all the other reasons poor people are poor and do stupid stuff. Much of it no matter the color of your skin, boils down to poverty. Can you make it out? Yes you can. Just not an easy path but anything worth while you usually have to fight for. Don’t let yesterday define your tomorrow. Make today the best you can.
We send billions to fight wars on foreign soils while we got veterans living in the streets, and kids getting beat, and folks starving shivering in the cold cause their ain’t no money for victims of a fire or flood to help them rebuild. Old people cant get their medicine and people are struggling with all the inflation. Times are tough for more than half the country.
I just want peace. No Screaming, No Yelling, No Hitting. It is strange but when poor people smoke cigarettes they are a lot calmer. So many people quit smoking cigarettes because it is bad for you. Many of these people switched to Meth. The drugs don’t care if you are black, white, Asian, or Hispanic, they just want your green mula, cashola, stacks, cheddar and your soul. I was fortunate growing up even though I was exposed alot to drugs and alcohol I avoided the really bad stuff and kept my nose clean and my lung fresh and never stuck a needle in my arm.
So many of my friends are dead and gone. F^&$ Drugs, F^&# The Dealers, F^&$ The Rich Pricks That Bring Them In. F^&# The Government For Letting it Happen. The best way to beat them is to not do drugs! They want your money, they want you to be foggy, they want control.
People have been through hell and this song tells a story that others can relate too. Sometimes when you are going through some crap in life, it helps knowing that you are not alone, others hare suffering too. It doesn’t make it right or easier to deal with but everyone has struggles. “I Just Want Peace” can connect people on a deep level through trauma and music. Don’t kill yourself, Don’t Give Up. You Make It Eventually!
